IDecode® ActiveX DLL Software for Developers

The Positive Access IDecode ActiveX Parser DLL is a DLL module that can be used by software developers to quickly and easily add driver's license parsing capability to Windows-based applications.
The IDecode Parser DLL is a processing engine that has no direct user interface or direct device interface. Information from a card reading device (magnetic stripe or 2D bar code reader) is sent by the customer's application software to the DLL. The DLL then returns the information parsed into various fields as requested by the application software.

   - Windows 98, 98SE
   - Windows NT4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista

Development tools:
   - The IDecode Parser DLL is compiled using Microsoft Visual Studio 6.
     The DLL has been tested with applications developed using Microsoft
     Visual Studio 6, Microsoft Visual Studio.net, and Borland Delphi.

You must contact Positive Access and request the IDecode Parser SDK.

Licensing Requirements

A license is required for use of the IDecode Parser DLL. Positive Access will provide a Registration Key for each license purchased. 

Before the IDecode Parser DLL becomes fully functional the application software using it must first pass the DLL a Registration Key. It is suggested that the application software provide a user interface for requesting the Registration Key the first time the software is run. The application software would then pass that Registration Key to the DLL. After the DLL has received the Registration Key it becomes fully operational.
