IDecode®.Net DLL Software for Developers

The Positive Access IDecode.Net Parser DLL is a DLL module that can be used by software developers to quickly and easily add driver's license parsing capability to Windows-based applications when using the Microsoft .Net framework.

.NET is a very important programming framework that has been introduced by Microsoft to allow for programming in various environments. Windows XP has the .NET framework installed with the basic operating system. Positive Access has found that the .NET version of its DLL is faster and smaller and of course the Visual Basic Run Time is not required.

Software Environment Information

Operating Systems:
   - Windows 98, 98SE
   - Windows NT4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista

Operating Environment:
  - Requires .NET Framework Version 1.1 or 2.0

Development tools:
  - The IDecode.Net DLL is compiled using Microsoft Visual Studio.Net 2003. The DLL has been tested with applications developed using Studio.Net.

Licensing Requirements

A license is required for each use of the IDecode Parser DLL. Positive Access will provide a Registration Key for each license purchased. 

Before the IDecode Parser DLL becomes fully functional the application software using it must first pass the DLL a Registration Key. It is suggested that the application software provide a user interface for requesting the Registration Key the first time the software is run. The application software would then pass that Registration Key to the DLL. After the DLL has received the Registration Key it becomes fully operational.
